Welcome to Artlove Boutique – we opened in June 2023 – a dream come true!
My name is Liubov Clapson – I was born in the Ukraine where I trained to master’s degree level in fashion & design. I ran my own wedding salon in Ukraine’s capital city, creating wedding dresses, ball gowns, corsets & accessories by hand. I have collaborated with several leading international salons, selling my creations around the world.
I love to sew wedding dresses, because it is a state of celebration, purity, the beginning of a new life for every bride. It is real magic when a girl instantly turns into a princess. I work hard to turn dreams into reality. I really love what I do and I love my customers, they are all so beautiful and happy.
I also create hats and casual clothes. I first started sewing caps when I was a teenager for my father. Then, when my father left this world, I kept a few of his caps for myself. I liked wearing them so much that I began to sew new ones for myself, then for my friends and from there I started to build a customer base.
For some designs I will buy specific fabric, but I can also create from fabric offcuts or through upcycling older garments to give them a whole new lease of life.
In my childhood I was lucky enough to see how silkworms and linen are grown and with my grandmother, I learned to create woollen threads and make socks. For me, the materials are of particular value and I love natural materials – I hope you do too!

We were all children once and we had our favourite toys – I still have a bear which my mother’s students gave me on my birthday. Although my bear is the same age as me, he looks a little worse (I hope).
I create handmade bears, rabbits, monkeys, hippos, and other animals for adults to be displayed and cherished. The first animals that I created were hares for a convent, which had a special meaning for them. I really liked doing it, although it takes no less time to sew a dress for a tiny hare than a dress for me, sometimes even more.
All my creations are unique, no two are the same. They are designed as collectibles to cherish – they are not suitable for small children.
